Who we are
This website is run by Rancho Neighbors United, a committee of Rancho Cucamonga residents (registered name: Rancho Neighbors United; Supporting King for Mayor and VanGorden for City Council District 2; Opposing Kennedy for Mayor and Scott for City Council District 2, 2026; FPPC ID # 1497370).
Questions and requests: contact@ranchoneighborsunited.com
What we collect
- When you take the pledge: your first and last name, email address and ZIP code.
- Only if you choose: your mobile number (if you ask for texts) and your street address (if you ask for a yard sign).
- When you ask for a yard sign: your first and last name, email address, ZIP code and street address, plus a phone number and a delivery note if you choose to give them. We use that phone number only for questions about your delivery.
- We also record when you signed up, which boxes you checked, and how you found us (for example, from our mailer).
Why we collect it
- To count pledges across Rancho Cucamonga and by City Council district.
- To deliver a yard sign if you ask for one.
- To send texts or email only if you check the box for them.
We may check your name and ZIP code against the public voter file to confirm that you live in Rancho Cucamonga and to find your district.
Who sees it
Only RNU's officers and the volunteers who need it to do these things, and the services that run this site and our messages for us:
- Webflow, which hosts this website and its form
- Zapier, which passes each pledge from this website to our list
- Mailchimp, which keeps our list and sends email
- Our text-message service
- Google Analytics, which counts visits to this site (see Tracking below)
We never sell your information, and we never share it with any candidate, campaign or other organization.
Texts
If you check the box, we will text you when it's time to act, up to four messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end, or HELP for help. You don't have to agree to texts to take the pledge.
If you check the box, we will email you updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Tracking
We use Google Analytics to count visits to this site, including how many people came from each yard sign and mailer (the code at the end of the link). Google Analytics uses cookies and sees things like your device, browser, rough location and the pages you visit. It doesn't tell us who you are, and we don't send it your name, email, phone or address. Google's advertising features are off, and we don't use advertising pixels or track you across other websites. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, email contact@ranchoneighborsunited.com.
How long we keep it
We delete the list when this effort is over. We delete each yard-sign request once your signs are delivered.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and email the people who signed up for email. This version was last updated October 7, 2026.
The pledge is not a petition
Taking the pledge is not signing a petition. A recall petition is signed on paper, in ink, in front of a circulator; nothing online counts toward it.
